Tarzegg, Yolk of the Jungle
In 1927, Wilbur and his boss, museum curator Sir Reginald Muggins, are sent to Africa by the King of England to capture a rare and beautiful Boxer Butterfly. In Africa, they meet Tarzegg, a four and a half foot tall egg who wears a loin cloth, swings on vines and is the Yolk of the Jungle. Things get silly when Sir Reginald decides, before capturing the butterfly, he wants to turn Tarzegg into a giant, delicious omelette.
Even though the Englishmen almost get eaten, married, trampled, and beaten up, Wilbur's toughest challenge was to gain his boss's respect. It wasn't until Wilbur rescued Sir Reginald from some giant killer pigeons that he gained his boss's approval.
